Fresh Produce boxes are being dropped off Saturday morning! You may recognize Thames River Melons from both The St. Jacobs Market as well as Cambridge market. With markets being closed, we want to support our local farmers and bring farm fresh produce to our Pals. Avoid the grocery store, and enjoy our contactless pickup! Don’t forget to grab a latte or other items while you’re here! Items included as shown in the picture and are all sourced locally! Items will change with the season. $45 for the box. Must order by Sunday night. Pick up Saturday morning between 10 and 12pm.

Thames River Melons is a family owned and operated fruit and vegetable farm just outside of Innerkip, Ontario since 1984. We grow a variety of crops, starting with asparagus & rhubarb, in May, strawberries and zucchini in June, melons and sweet corn in July & August, and squash, sweet potatoes, and pumpkins in the fall + a whole lot more in between!
We also produce our own Melon Blossom Honey, and a line of preserves, including jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces. We have attended many farmers’ markets across southwestern Ontario for the past 20+ years, and have loved the opportunity to create connection between rural & urban communities. Due to the cancellation & delay of many of these markets this year, we have introduced direct-home deliveries of weekly Market Boxes.
Market boxes will contain a selection of produce each week depending on availability. For June we’ll continue to have our own asparagus, rhubarb, and green garlic, and will also have our own new potatoes, zucchini, peas, strawberries, and more as crops come into season. Given the cold spring, we’ll continue to supplement with a few additional items from neighbouring farms, such as greenhouse cucumber, lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes.
